Numerical experiments of the formation of dwarf galaxies using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics Method

Three-dimensional N-body/hydrodynamical simulations of the formation and evolution of dwarf galaxies are presented in the cosmologically motivated initial conditions. The calculation including gas dynamics, dark matter, radiation processes, star formation, supernovae and stellar winds feedback, and metal enrichment reproduces reasonably well both the exponential radial luminosity pro les and the low chemical abundances observed in dwarf elliptical galaxies.
